Dedicated to higher-efficiency loudspeakers, ‘The Final Cut MK23’ sports OTL output-transformer-less circuitry indentical to the MK60, downscaled merely for lower power requirements but still without the common loss of bass control due to insufficient damping factors. ‘The Final Cut’ achieves the sophisticated midband presence of a 300B S.E.T. or 211 but adds exploded bandwidth and dynamics beyond any audible limits – a true watershed phenomenon in tube technology.
