On the “red” side of the power strip, there is an efficient RF filter that effectively eliminates disruptive RF radiation. This filter employs reverse damping to minimize high-frequency interference from connected components, especially digital devices or those with switching power supplies.

Voltage Monitoring
The Octopus power strip offers eight power slots, with four of them featuring built-in filters. It provides surge protection for all connected devices and incorporates an RF filter to minimize interference. Additionally, the power strip includes a phase detector and a voltage indicator that displays the incoming mains voltage. The voltage detector also identifies any disruptive DC voltages present in the network, alerting if they exceed a specified threshold (DC detect). High levels of DC voltage in the network can impact the performance and degrade the audio quality of your HiFi components.
